For some reason we feel compelled to share our prediction for the NBA Finals that start tonight.
While most pundits seem split between Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics, most are predicting a series that will go at least six games, if not seven.
Not only do we think the Warriors will win, we think they will close out Boston in five, taking the first two at home, winning one of the next two in Boston, and then closing out the series back on the west coast.
We respect Boston's defense but we think their best player, Jayson Tatum, is still a tad too erratic in the big moments. Golden State on the other hand, alongside its 123-0 edge in NBA Finals game experience, has too many players who have been there before, appreciate how hard it is to get back, and are determined not to let this opportunity get away in this, their sixth trip to the NBA Finals in eight years.
We're not sure how the Dubs will offset the C's bigger front court but we think they will find a way to do it, and blitz the Celtics every time they blink.
