Board President Elected to National Committee

Warrensville Heights

Ray Freeman, president of the Warrensville Heights Board of Education, was one of four new school board members elected to serve a 3-year term on the Council of Urban Boards of Education steering committee (CUBE).

The election took place last month at the annual business meeting of the National School Boards Association. CUBE is an initiative of the NSBA to support urban school boards and foster effective leadership for excellence and equity in public education, with a specific focus on underrepresented students.

Freeman has served on the Warrensville Heights City Schools Board of Education since 2015; he was elected president in January.
