Entrepreneurs and innovators event set for Playhouse Square, October 10-12

Founding partners The City of Cleveland, United Black Fund and JumpStart are once again hosting the highly anticipated FutureLAND Conference from October 10 to 12, 2024, at Playhouse Square. The dynamic event brings together local and national thought leaders, industry innovators, and content creators to explore ways in which tech shapes the entrepreneur ecosystem and creative economy.

"The conference was developed to provide a platform to spotlight diverse local-regional talent, amplify entrepreneurship through the lens of technology, innovation and culture, as well as signal to the globe that Cleveland is a great place to launch startups, own a small business or build a progressive career in technology led industries," said Teleangé Thomas, founding partner of FutureLAND.

FutureLAND Conference, through the 2024 theme Evolve, promises an exciting lineup of keynote speakers, interactive workshops, networking opportunities and panel discussions aimed at fostering collaboration and sparking new ideas.

Some of this year's speakers include Everette Taylor, CEO of Kickstarter; Cole Bennett, Founder & CEO of Lyrical Lemonade; Chris Gray, Co-Founder of Scholly & Path and Kim Lewis, Co-Founder & CEO at Curlmix to name a few. One highlight is the Youth Hack-a-Thon, a team-based challenge giving area teens the opportunity to work together in devising innovative solutions that address local issues.

The conference will also feature a showcase of local entrepreneurs and innovative projects, highlighting the rich talent and creativity within the Cleveland community. Parties are scheduled for each night as well.

"FutureLand Conference is not just about ideas," says Charron Leeper, FutureLAND co-founder and creative director. "It's about actionable steps that will shape our city for generations to come."
