I'm not buying the bull the Browns and their new quarterback Deshaun Watson are selling. Twenty-two women have civil complaints against him. Where there’s that much smoke there’s likely fire. They can spin this as much as they like but we know that the NFL has a long history of tolerating or ignoring the abuse women have seen at the hands of some NFL players. The Browns never should’ve hired him with this dark cloud looming. I believe people are innocent until proven guilty. However, he shouldn’t be the face of the Browns at least until his civil cases are over.

Let's face it; football is a violent sport so it’s not farfetched to believe some players are violent outside of the sport. This situation is not a good look for the Browns, Watson or Cleveland. This is also a slap in the face to all women, literally and figuratively. The Browns want to win games at any cost. That's sad and immoral.

The Browns could’ve hired Colin Kaepernick, who is ready, willing and able to serve as a great quarterback. But wait; he is still being blackballed by the NFL for taking a knee and asking for justice for all of the Black and Brown people who have been unjustly murdered by the police. (Insert long sigh here)
