Little Giants Gym, a new children’s gym program in the Cleveland area, will have its grand opening today at 627 E 185th St in Euclid [44119]. The open house is being held to reboot the gym's new focus on childhood health and wellness, reflected in its new status as an ACE service provider by the Ohio Department of Education.
Founder Calvin Love envisions Little Giants as a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where children can develop lifelong healthy habits. With one in three American children obese, the gym is committed to promoting physical fitness and wellness in children.
The gym offers an all-access facility where children can receive an exercise, fitness, and wellness program based on their individual needs and assessments. The gym also provides funding to eligible families who cannot afford the membership fees, ensuring that every child has an opportunity to participate. The funding for families who qualify will come from the State of Ohio.
Little Giants Gym invites families in the Euclid area to join them for a 6:30p open house on Friday, March 24, to learn more about the gym, meet the staff, and tour the facility. Families interested in learning more about the gym but cannot attend the open house are encouraged to call 216-288-0527.
Little Giants has been in operation about five years. Current regular gym hours are Monday-Friday from 4p-9p. Weekend hours with personal trainers are available by appointment.
"At Little Giants Gym, we believe that every child deserves a chance to live a healthy, active life," said Love, the gym's founder. "We are committed to providing children with the tools they need to develop lifelong healthy habits and to invest in the future of our community. We look forward to welcoming families to our gym and working together to build a better future for our children."
