The Soul of Philanthropy Cleveland [TSOP-CLE], an ongoing effort inspired by the desire to recognize, celebrate, and promote black philanthropy, presents a special program tonight presenting its newest honorees  and the second installation of the permanent exhibit at the Cleveland Public Library.

Tonight’s virtual program, which starts at 6p, will showcase the history and legacy of African American philanthropy.

The online event will feature Givers, Doers and Changemakers who are creating impact in our region through their philanthropy. Some of this year’s 14 honorees will be familiar community movers and shakers. Far more will be those who have been laboring anonymously in the vineyard.

Register here to attend tonight’s online celebration and be among the first to learn this year’s honorees, and for details about the new “Celebrate Those Who Give Black” exhibit, which will be on display in the Louis Stokes Wing of the downtown Cleveland Public Library, 525 Superior Ave. [44114] and open to the public beginning Monday, August 30, 2021.
