The Metro Health System, Cuyahoga County Board of Health and the East Cleveland City Schools have teamed up to offer East Cleveland residents and others the chance get vaccinated against COVID-19 close to home.

Free COVID vaccinations are available in the cafeteria at Shaw High School 15320 Euclid Ave., East Cleveland, 44112. Vaccines are available on Wednesday, April 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additional Saturday vaccination dates will be made available soon. There is free parking. Shaw High is located on the 28 & 41 bus lines.

Walk-ups without an appointment will also be able to get vaccinated.

This is the Pfizer vaccine, which is approved for anyone 16 years or older. Minors who are 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We ask that people register if possible.

The Pfizer vaccine requires two doses. You will be scheduled for your second dose at Shaw High when you receive your first.

COVID-19 vaccine is safe, effective and our best chance to get back to normal this summer.
