The Rev. Dr. F. Allison Phillips died September 9, 2024.
Dr. Phillips was called to Cleveland to pastor Mt. Zion UCC. in University Circle in 1982. He served about a decade before retiring from pastoral ministry and becoming an executive with the United Church of Christ national office.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Phillips, and two daughters.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 27, 2024, at noon at Mt. Zion UCC, 10723 Magnolia Dr. [44106]. A one-hour wake will precede the service.
Public visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, from 3p-7p at E. F. Boyd & Son Funeral Home, 25900 Emery Road [44128].
