TV One’s hit series “Uncensored” kicked off its fourth season with the final interview of rapper DMX.

For those who may have missed the Season 4 premiere of TV One’s “Uncensored” – the final interview with rapper DMX, who died April 9, 2021 – the episode will be re-broadcast several times through Sunday, May 23, along with the follow-up program “DMX: The Icon” which offers commentary from family and friends.
DMX, whose real name was Earl Simmons, died April 9th, a week after suffering “catastrophic cardiac arrest” in New York. The rapper/actor emerged onto the music scene in the mid-‘90s, bringing a gritty persona and raw lyrics to the genre, helping make his “Ruff Ryders Anthem” a club favorite. Between 1998 and 2003, DMX released five albums that all went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He also landed prominent roles in a number of films including “Belly,” co-starring Nas; “Romeo Must Die“, with Aaliyah and Jet Li; and “Exit Wounds” with Steven Seagal.
Additional airings of “DMX” are Saturday, May 22 at 11AM (TV One) and 1PM ET (CLEO TV), and Sunday, May 23 at 10PM ET (TV One). “DMX: The Icon” will precede the interview on Saturday, May 22 at 10AM on TV One, It will also be shown at 2PM May 22 on CLEO-TV, and 11PM on TV One Sunday, May 23. Both programs are available indefinitely on the TV One App.

Grammy nominated R&B ballad master Keith Washington will perform live at The Civic Conference and Events Center in Cleveland Heights (3130 Mayfield Road) Saturday, May 29 at 7PM. Also on the bill are Nicole Hoopz Alexander (MTV’s “Flavor of Love”) and singer Chrissii Key.
Tickets are $33 and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Presented by Queens Unleashed Entertainment; proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

‘Transmutations’ exhibit at Buckland Museum - Through May 30
The current exhibit at the Raymond Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick is “Transmutations…Witches, Healers and Oracles”. Curated by Stephen Romano, the exhibit features esoteric photographic works of Destiny Turner, Alexis Karl, Courtney Brooke, Lorena Torres Martell and Nahw Yg, with words by renowned author Kristen J. Sollee — artists who have channeled their life experiences into their artmaking practice using the languages and aesthetics of witchcraft, shamanism, and other contexts.
The exhibition also features vernacular and historical photographic works, including works from the Museum’s collection of vintage lobby cards, as well as the early 20th century photography of William Mortensen, Walter Bird, John Everard, Roland Henricks, and more.
