‘Return of the Butterflies’ at Cleveland Botanical Garden
Celebrate Spring with the ‘Return of the Butterflies’ exhibit at the Cleveland Botanical Garden, 11030 East Blvd [44106], featuring more than 600 newly emerged butterflies — representing 10 different species — in the Costa Rica biome inside the Garden’s glasshouse.
The Cleveland Botanical Gardens are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10AM-5PM, and Sundays from Noon-5PM. Admission to the Gardens is $15 for adults, $10 for children 2 years of age and up and includes access to the Glasshouse.

Brittani Bo Baker to Compete on Food Network’s ‘BBQ Brawl’ - June 14
Brittani Bo Baker, daughter of Al “Bubba” Baker, the former Cleveland Browns stalwart and creator of Bubba’s Q barbecue, will be a contestant on the second season premiere of the Food Network’s cooking competition show, “BBQ Brawl”, Monday, June 14 at 9PM ET. Brittani and her brother, James, have other food ventures in the works, including a new barbecue restaurant in the Flats, scheduled for a late summer opening.
6th Annual Tattoo Arts Convention – June 11-14
The 6th Annual Tattoo Arts Convention, presented by Villain Arts, returns to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, 300 Lakeside Avenue [44113] for three days of contests, entertainment and more. Special guests include Al Fliction; Cee Jay Jones, Kyle Dunbar and Jake Ross from Seasons 1-2, 3-4 and 10 (respectively) of “Ink Master,” which can be seen on the Paramount Network.
Times: June 11: 2-11PM; June 12: 11AM-11PM; June 13: 2-8PM. Admission: $20-$40; children 12 and under are free.

Men at Large in Akron June 13 for ‘Shade of Summer’ Concert
As part of local jazz group Hubb’s Groove Jazz and R&B Block Party Series, the “Shade of Sumner” concert will feature Cleveland’s own Men at Large – Dave Tolliver and Jason Champion – on Sunday, June 13 at 4PM at LaPlace Events Banquet Hall, 1850 Buchholzer Blvd., Akron [44310].
Also on the bill are Julian Vaughn, performing a special tribute to Waymon Tisdale; and Tony Watson Jr.
Note: This is an outdoor show. In the case of rain, the show will be moved inside to the Ballroom. Tickets are $31.50 for General Admission; $41.50 and $46.50 for front row seating and can be picked up at Will Call only. General admission ticket buyers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
