Pay tribute to some of Cleveland’s iconic bands at the Greatest R&B Legends Music Awards September 25 at Rudy’s Pub in Cleveland Heights.

Local promoter/producer Dennis Cash is the force behind this weekend’s "Greatest R&B Legends Music Awards," to be held Saturday, September 25 at 6 pm at Rudy's Pub, 2191 Lee Road (44118). This event will honor many of Cleveland's R&B Legends such as the Kinsman Dazz Band, Sherena Wynn, The Deltones, The Rude Boys, Katzz, Drama, Cash, 1 of the Girls and more! Scheduled performances include the Unit Band, Stazia, The Millennium Dancers, Rob Allen and Michael J. Calhoun.
An archive of the event will stream on the CBS-19 News app beginning Monday, September 27.

The 21st Annual Battle of the Bands takes place this Saturday, September 25 at 6PM at the Bedford Bearcat Stadium, 481 Northfield Road [44146]. Hosted by Music Through the Streets (founded by well-known scholastic band leader Donshon Wilson), this year’s competition features high school marching bands from across the country to compete for the ultimate goal, Grand Champion! Tickets are $12 in advance; $15 day of the show.

The 20th Annual Bicycle Film Festival Cleveland continues through Monday, September 27 with a completely virtual film schedule. Bicycle Film Festival has been celebrating bicycles through art, film and music for the last 20 years with over 90 cities worldwide and a viewer audience of 1 million and growing. The festival has an incredible history of working with the most important artists, filmmakers, venues, and institutions around the world. The long-awaited ‘Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit’ has finally come to Cleveland, housed at the Lighthouse Artspace Cleveland at 850 East 72 Street [44103]. In this exhibit, conceived and designed by Massimiliano Siccardi and featuring a soundtrack by Luca Longobardi, visitors can lose themselves in 500,000 cubic feet of monumental projections animating the works of Vincent van Gogh. Tickets are $39.99 and $49.99 plus fees.
