This week’s clinic is the latest in a series of Medworks’ public offerings.

Since 2009, the organization has held more than 100 free health care clinics, providing more than 20,000 individuals with 45,000 health care appointments and services. These are typically pop-up health care clinics in different locations around Northeast Ohio, staffed by invited local healthcare professionals from the area’s world-class hospital and healthcare systems who volunteer their time to provide essential health care services to patients

The clinics are underwritten by grants, sponsorships, and donations to fund this work, making it 100 percent free for patients.

Medworks can also help patients find affordable ongoing care. Medworks Navigators are available to speak with patients confidentially about their financial situation, affordable insurance options, affordable health care options, and can enroll patients in health insurance, help schedule follow-up appointments, and connect people to other needed resources, like food, discount prescriptions, and more. Their stated mission is here to help people find affordable care so they can live healthier lives.

Medworks is also planning upcoming dental clinics and mental health telehealth appointments. To learn more about these clinics, visit medworksusa.org or follow them on Facebook and Instagram at Medworkusa.
