Mother of four daughters, choir member 

Marva Sims was born January 25, 1936 in Sipsey, Alabama, a company coal mining town northwest of Birmingham, where she lived until  she moved to Cleveland in 1961. She raised four daughters with the support of her second husband, Olie Williams. An active member of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, Marva sang in the church choir for approximately 15 years. She later moved to Eliza Bryant Garden Estates where she lived out the remainder of her golden years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sims will be tomorrow, Friday, April 9 at 1:30pm at the E. F. Boyd & Son Funeral Home and Crematory, 25900 Emery Road [44128].
