Shontel Brown has gathered an early lead in the Democratic primary to find a successor to replace former Congresswoman Marcia Fudge.
With all of Summit County’s 82 precincts and just over 1/4 of Cuyahoga County’s 513 precincts counted, Brown has a total of 20,447 votes for a lead of 3502 votes over former State Senator Nina Turner, who has a total 16,945 votes.
Turner won Summit County by 54 votes.
